This 24,000 SF project was an addition to the existing K-8 School and included a gymnasium and locker facilities as well as a new main entry, multi-purpose facility, library, administration offices, rest rooms and central air/ventilation with parallel fan powered VAV boxes and individual room controls. The original school house has had several additions that created space inefficiency and 5 different floor elevations. The master plan effort estimated a potential of 500 students, the campus master plan refocused the school and its activities centrally on the site, with a relocated parking and drop-off area that improved safety. A large on-site wastewater treatment system was also required which Jackola designed and permitted.
