Having won a 16 year concession to operate the Glacier National Park franchise, Xanterra Parks and Resorts chose to work with Jackola and Hammerquist Casalegno to meet the requirements for storing and servicing the red bus fleet. A reduction in the owners budget meant that the designers and contractor were challenged to meet the National Park Service requirements while working within half of the original value. Jackola provided full design services including mechanical, structural, civil and electrical engineering and architectural services. We are currently providing construction administration services for this fast track project. This 27,500 SF building houses the historic red buses for Glacier National Park and has many sustainable strategies for making it a "green" project. These include radiant floor heating and high efficiency water heaters.
