This project presented many challenges since it was a remodeled existing structure of considerable age. The space uses a warehouse style inner core to its advantage with interesting exposed mechanical and structural detailing while keeping with the mountain vernacular. The design-build team incorporated and upgraded the existing fa?ade to allow for a natural transition to the present Whitefish downtown retail spaces. Covered walkways over the public sidewalks were approved as part of this development.
