The Teacher Education Building is the result of the construction of an 9177 SF addition to an existing building consisting of approximately 1,680 SF. The building plan and orientation were configured to take advantage of the available exceptional view of the Mission Range to the east. It consists primarily of a lecture hall and classroom space, some of which is flexible in size with the use of acoustical folding partitions. Offices for instructional staff and Department Chair are provided as well as class preparation space for staff, and conference room. Heating and cooling of the facility is accomplished through energy efficient ground-source heat pumps serving multiple zones.
