Jackola provided mechanical design services for renovation of an existing 12,800 SF building to include classroom and working lab space. The spaces include a 3D printer lab, computer lab, classroom, conference rooms and working/study spaces. The existing HVAC was investigated for re-use but the current plan is to provide new gas-fired heating and air cooled DX cooling systems for the built out spaces using horizontal furnaces located above ceilings and rooftop packaged units. An exhaust system will be provided for the new restrooms and 3D printer lab.
