The WHA birthing center was a renovation of a 9,000 SF existing restaurant space in Portland, Oregon. The birthing center contains exam rooms, offices, birthing rooms, restrooms, conference rooms, and ancillary spaces for a women's health clinic.  Jackola designed the HVAC and plumbing systems for the facility which included a new energy recovery ventilation system and split system heat pumps which served the new birthing rooms.  Existing rooftop units were reused for the office and exam rooms.
